![]() ![]() I remain unclear on something though: If the damage (or any) bar on a weapon is full, does that mean it's pointless to put anymore circuits in that increase that stat? By the time I was halfway through Chapter Four, it had turned into my main gun and was getting all of the best upgrade circuits. Quickly, I began toying around with the Evangelizer, first focusing on the secondary fire I found that, while the rate of fire was horrendous, the sheer power of it made it far more ammo efficient than the Plasma Cutter and also saved me far more in the way of health (by this point, I had yet to die, amazingly). It's hard to explain the joy I got at watching a Fodder get torn apart in a single shot, whereas using my Plasma Cutter would have taken at least three. Namely, I brought out the (stop me if you've heard this one before) Evangelizer, thinking I would use it as my secondary weapon while I put upgrade circuits into my Plasma Cutter (because, dammit, the Plasma Cutter is so damn precious to me).Īll of that changed the instant I decided to try out the Evangelizer's secondary fire. Now, once aboard the Roanoke, I finally was able to reach a Bench, at which point I decided to make use of the various DLC I had for the game. After constantly going "Oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t" for the first three chapters, mostly avoiding combat wherever I could with my sad little Plasma Cutter (seriously, that was my main gun for the whole of 1 and 2 seeing the noble Plasma Cutter brought so low was a depressing experience) I made it to the Roanoke. And by that, I mean it was probably a bad idea to do this. ![]() Oh boy was this a fun way to get back into Dead Space after seven years. ![]() ![]() While I wait for someone on the Xbox who wants to do Co-Op with me in the main game and Awakening (more on that later), I thought I'd give some of my thoughts on each of the modes. So, after having abandoned the game for seven years, I finally got around to completing the three "extra" modes of Dead Space 3: Classic, Hardcore, and Pure Survival. ![]()
